Our Impact
Since our founding in 1946, the Leukemia Research Foundation has dedicated itself to funding promising blood cancer research projects and providing critical support services to patients and their families. Thanks to our donors, we have raised more than $80M in support of this mission.
Research impact
Our researchers’ projects in genomics, immunotherapies, and stem cell biology have advanced the understanding of what drives blood cancers to form and progress and what biological markers could be targets for treatment.
Patient impact
Our support programs are available to blood cancer patients and their families at every step in the cancer journey. Programs include free education programs, peer support, and need-based financial assistance.
