The Leukemia Research Foundation Welcomes New Director of Communications


Northfield, Illinois (July 21, 2021) – The Leukemia Research Foundation is pleased to welcome Kelsey Raftery as its new director of communications.

Kelsey comes to the Leukemia Research Foundation with more than ten years of experience in marketing and communications. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Upstate New York.

Before joining the Leukemia Research Foundation, Raftery was the director of marketing and communications at a local government agency and the marketing director at a nationwide energy services company. In both of these roles, she was responsible for advancing the organization’s marketing and branding efforts to drive increased awareness and revenue.

“We’re very excited to have Kelsey join our team,” said Kevin Radelet, executive director of the Leukemia Research Foundation. “Her overall understanding of marketing strategies, brand development, and prospect generation will help build upon our marketing foundation and guide it to the next level.”
