Leukemia Research Foundation's Impact

Since the Leukemia Research Foundation was founded in 1946, we have raised more than $82 million in pursuit of better treatments and the ultimate cure for all blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

Our organization is unique because we are primarily dedicated to providing grants to New Investigators – early-career blood cancer researchers – to enable these scientists to make discoveries that spark important breakthroughs in blood cancer treatment.

In this report, we examine how funding the pilot stage of an innovative scientific idea can have enormous rewards and propel bright minds in the field of research. Although we only share with you a small sample of the hundreds of projects we have funded, we are intensely proud of all our investments in top-quality science and launching the careers of promising researchers.
