Zebrafish Aid in Human Cancer Treatments

Meet David Langenau, Ph.D., from the Mass General Research Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital. Doctor Langenau’s research focuses on new therapies for pediatric cancers that are difficult to treat. He uses zebrafish to model various cancers, then tests various medications to treat. Doctor Langenau’s research was funded by the Leukemia Research Foundation in 2010. Currently, he is an associate investigator, Department of Pathology and associate professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School.
