New Treatment Regimen for Some Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Patients
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients who do not respond to standard care have a new treatment regimen now, thanks to the work of Reshmi Parameswaran, Ph.D. and colleagues at the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland. The new treatment option involves enhancement of the patient’s immune system to identify and kill leukemia cells. Read more about the new therapy here.
