$15 Million NIH Grant Supports Leukemia Research Foundation-Funded Researcher
Congratulations to Matthew J. Walter, M.D., who is one of several researchers at Washington University’s Siteman Cancer Center whose work will be funded by a $15 million grant from the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Doctor Walter’s research focuses on the genetics and epigenetics of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Read more here.
Doctor Walter is a professor in the Department of Genetics and the Department of Medicine, Oncology Division, Bone Marrow Transplantation & Leukemia, Stem Cell Biology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. His research was funded by the Leukemia Research Foundation in 2002.
